How We Review
Every FlickZada review follows the same honest method, so readers always know what a score means.
What we judge: story and screenplay; performances; direction; music and background score; cinematography, editing and other technical craft; pacing; and the film’s overall impact and rewatch value.
Our ratings: scores are out of 10. 9 to 10 is outstanding; 8 to 8.9 excellent; 7 to 7.9 good; 6 to 6.9 above average; 5 to 5.9 mixed; 4 to 4.9 disappointing; below 4 is poor. The star line under each review’s title shows the same score in stars.
How a review is researched: FlickZada reviews are research-based editorial reviews. For each film we study verified trade reporting, official production information and published critical reception, cross-check the facts, and then form our own independent judgment and score. Where a figure, such as a budget or a box-office total, comes from trade reporting rather than an audited source, we present it as a reported figure. We never invent figures, quotes, awards or audience scores.
Trailer reviews: for upcoming films we review the official trailer only. The score is labelled Our Trailer Rating; it judges the trailer — its footage, tone, music and promise — never the unseen film. The full review follows after release.
Series reviews: we review family-safe series only. For a series that is still on air, the review covers the episodes aired so far and says so clearly.
Spoilers: our reviews are spoiler-free. We discuss the premise and the craft, not the twists or the ending.
Box office: collection figures are reported from trade sources and are updated only when reliable new figures are published.
